Alpine Mint Deodorant 

Scented with spearmint and eucalyptus essential oils. Our Alpine Mint deodorant is light and fresh, with just a slight earthy scent. Sage Peak Soap thoughtfully picked the ingredients to control odor, smell great, and limit skin irritants.

Ingredient Breakdown

• Arrowroot Powder: Helps to absorb moisture, assists in making our recipe glide and feel softer during application and makes a thicker deodorant.

• MCT Oil: medium chain triglycerides are a natural odor fighting agent. It is a great light weight oil that helps prevent underarm irritation by decreasing clogging of pores and absorbs into the skin quickly.

• Cetearyl Alcohol: Texture and glide are assisted by cetearyl alcohol, it works as an emulsifier to keep our ingredients combined. It is gentle and non-toxic helping to soften the under arm skin while creating a protective barrier against moisture loss. 

• Magnesium Hydroxide: In the typical place of aluminum and baking soda we use magnesium hydroxide. It is gentle to the skin and does not clog pores while also providing odor neutralization. 

• Coconut Oil: This is the base to our deodorant, but an added bonus it helps with odor- causing bacteria. 

• Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil is a great hydration assistant and soothing to the skin, it is light weight, and supports a healthy skin pH. 

• Zinc Rincinoleate: Added to our deodorant to help with odor control and support a healthy skin biome in the underarms. Zinc Rincinoleate is sweat permeable, so it won’t stop you from sweating but it will help capture and neutralize odor causing agents. 

• Triethyl Citrate: Enzyme inhibitor to stop bacteria from creating odor.

• Lactobacillus Ferment: Postbiotic to support underarm pH to prevent odor and gentle enough for all sensitive skin

• Vitamin E Oil: We use Vitamin E Oil as a natural preservative, it is very high in antioxidants and its soothing for the skin. 

We created our own deodorant because we were tired of buying a deodorant that was irritating to our underarms, we couldn't read and understand the ingredients list, and odor control was subpar. When switching to a cleaner more natural deodorant like our it's  important to remember your body will go a through a sort of “detox” takes about 5 to 7 days to enjoy our deodorant, as your underarm may not be used to such gentle ingredients and will have to work to get the underarm pH correct to prevent bacteria from creating an odor.
